TRIPD
A score for music and dance driven by spontaneous composition, TRIPD stages the evolution of the body as a tripedal organism. Following a performance at the Montreal Fringe, Cult Montreal gushed, “With a strong concept at the heart of the piece combined with striking visual tableaus, the dancers frequently used a combination of three contact points on the floor, two hands one foot, two feet and an elbow… The moody, group work breathed an apocalyptic vibe…”
TRIPD incorporates a workshop initiative through which emerging dancers are cast for ensemble work. Our workshops foster a mutually beneficial relationship between young dancers and emerging dance companies.
TRIPD has been shown at R&D Studios and La Luz in Bushwick, the 2015 Montreal Fringe Fesival, and Under Exposed at Dixon Place.
