Sarina Ramirez-Ortiz is an emerging dance artist based in southern California. As a Graduate Opportunity fellow, Sarina is currently pursuing her Master of Fine Arts degree in Dance at UC Irvine. She is a member of Interface Ensemble directed by Chad Michael Hall.
Sarina received her Bachelor’s degree in Dance from Loyola Marymount University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She has trained at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance where she performed work by Ohad Naharin and Alex Ketley, and studied with various dance companies, including Pilobolus Dance Theater. Sarina’s choreographic work has been showcased throughout Fresno and Los Angeles.
