Chelsea Asman, a Southern California native, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Chapman University. She has danced with Invertigo Dance Theatre, Diavolo Dance Theatre’s Education Company, METHOD Contemporary Dance Company, Kairos Dance Company and Multiplex Dance. Chelsea has taught at Loyola Marymount University, and Fullerton College, and was a part of the dance faculty for The Gabriella Foundation. In addition to teaching, Chelsea enjoys making works of her own and has shown her choreography in many festivals throughout Los Angeles. Chelsea was the founder and Committee Chairman of the Contemporary Modern Dance Collective from 2013 to 2016 and is a core member for Women Manifest, an organization to promote women empowerment. She helped produce the first Women Manifest Dance performance at Fiesta Hall in West Hollywood, California in March of 2016. Chelsea also has a background in fitness as a Master Trainer, certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the National Exercise and Sports Training Association. Currently Chelsea is pursuing her Masters degree in dance at the University of California, Irvine.
